Program Description

Join Duncan Hockey's Rookie Program this spring for young players aged 4-9. Designed for those with at least one year of experience, the program focuses on essential hockey skills like skating, puck handling, passing, and shooting. Experienced coaches lead fun, progressively challenging drills in a supportive environment, with one head coach for every ten players, ensuring personalized attention. Build confidence on the ice and enjoy the excitement of hockey! What to Expect: Skill Development: Learn the foundational skills of hockey including skating, puck handling, passing, and shooting. Sessions will focus on technique and proper form. Fun Drills: Each session will feature engaging drills designed to develop key skills while having fun on the ice. Drills will be progressively more challenging as players develop their abilities. Positive Environment: Our experienced coaches will create a supportive atmosphere where players feel encouraged and confident to try new skills and learn at their own pace. Outstanding Coaching: The program will feature 1 head coach for every 10 players, with extra junior coaches to ensure plenty of 1-on-1 attention and development. Who Should Attend: This program is designed for players in their 1st few years of hockey: ages 4-9. One year of hockey playing experience is required. Equipment Needed: Required: Full hockey gear and a water bottle.
